Pet Portraits: Your photos determine how your pet's "personality" is captured on canvas

To take the best pictures of your pet for their Pet Portrait:

1. Photograph at your pet's level. Use a squeaky toy or food for that sparkle in the eyes and extra ear lift.

2. Get extra close-ups of the face for "mommy's" favorite details.

3. Send fur snips for color matching

4. Take photos from all angles, with as little scenery as posssible.

5. Outdoor lighting is best. Try to get accurate color. Your photographs must be accurate and as clear as possible.

6. Your "baby's" personality being caught on camera, allows me to paint that extra sparkle.

Take as many rolls as necessary!!! When I photograph a pet for their portrait, I usually take about 4 rolls of 36 exposures. Too many is better than too little. As an artist, I can take the ear carriage from one picture , the "smile" from another and the tail set from another and combine them all in your artwork.

Your final portrait and your pets "personality captured on canvas" is determined by the images that you send.
